Privacy policy

This is what we collect, why we collect it, and how to get rid of it. If anything here is unclear, email hello@koolcube.au and ask.

What we collect

  • Order details. Your name, email, delivery address, phone number if you give one, and what you bought. We need these to send you your order.
  • Payment details. Handled entirely by our payment provider. Card numbers never reach our servers and we cannot see them.
  • Your cart. Held in your own browser's local storage on your device until you check out. It is not sent to us until you do.
  • Email you send us. Kept so we have the history if you write again.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, we don't rent it, and we don't hand it to advertisers. We don't build a profile of you across other websites.

Who else touches it

Only the services needed to get an order to you: our payment provider, our shipping carrier, and our email provider. Each receives the minimum required to do its job — the carrier gets your delivery address, the payment provider gets your payment details, and neither gets the rest.

Analytics

We measure how many people visit which pages so we know what to improve. Any analytics we run is aggregate and cookieless — no cross-site tracking, no advertising pixels, and nothing that identifies you personally.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for seven years, which is what Australian tax law requires of us. Email correspondence is kept for two years. Anything else is deleted when it stops being useful.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — except where we're legally required to keep order records. Emailhello@koolcube.au and we'll action it within 30 days.

You can clear your cart at any time by emptying it, or by clearing site data forkoolcube.au in your browser.

Complaints

Write to us first — most things are a misunderstanding we can fix quickly. If you're not satisfied with how we handle it, you can escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be sent to anyone on our mailing list.
